This privacy policy explains how the personal rclone Google Drive client operated by Alex Peasley handles information.
When authorised through Google OAuth, the application may access information from the user’s Google Drive account that is required for rclone to perform file synchronisation and file management.
This may include:
Information accessed through Google Drive is used solely to provide the functionality required by rclone for personal file synchronisation and management.
The information is not:
Google account credentials are not collected or stored by this application.
OAuth authentication is handled by Google. Any authentication tokens required by rclone are stored and managed by the rclone installation on the user’s device.
Google Drive data is not intentionally shared with third parties.
The application is intended for personal use and does not operate as a public service.
Because this application is used for personal file synchronisation, data accessed from Google Drive may remain in the user’s Google Drive account and on devices where rclone is configured.
Removing the rclone configuration or revoking the application’s access through the user’s Google Account will prevent further authenticated access.
Reasonable measures are taken to protect OAuth credentials and authentication tokens. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
This privacy policy may be updated if the application or its data handling practices change.
